Influence of artificial intelligence on mathematics learning in higher education
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of artificial intelligence on mathematics learning in higher education. The research was methodologically based on the qualitative approach and the documentary analysis of articles contained in indexed journals such as Scielo and Redalyc. Forty articles were reviewed and 15 were selected for meeting the inclusion criteria. The results showed that the use of AI-based simulation tools may improve performance, motivation, and efficiency in solving mathematical problems, especially in complex subjects. Therefore, it was concluded that artificial intelligence has had a positive impact on the mathematics learning in higher education, favoring the personalization of the educational process and the development of mathematical competencies.
