Impact of pictograms in Book Creator as a teaching resource in early childhood education
Abstract
The purpose of this article was to analyze the pictograms in Book Creator and their impact on the education of children in early childhood level. The methodology used was a descriptive quantitative approach, employing observation and interviews as techniques and a checklist combined with a structured questionnaire as instruments. The questionnaire was administered to 25 teachers at diverse early childhood education institutions. Among the results, the importance of using pictograms in Book Creator was highlighted, as they helped improve visual accessibility and reading comprehension for children aged 3 to 5. In conclusion, it was suggested that this resource, which makes reading an attractive and understandable experience, should continue to be used.
