The abuse of labor policies and its impact on the right to human development
Abstract
The objective of this study was to prevent the abuse of labor policies and its impact on the right to human development. Methodologically, a qualitative and descriptive research approach was used, focusing on case analysis and the interpretation of results based on research and articles. The results show that the abuse of labor policies has been an issue that has persisted over time in Ecuador; the most prominent abuses are excessive working hours and violations of labor rights, but corresponding regulations addressing these issues have also emerged with the enactment of new laws. In conclusion, the research allowed us to convey our message on how to prevent such occurrences and raise awareness of the consequences they entail.
