Artificial Intelligence (AI) as the Executive Branch in Ecuador
Abstract
The overall objective of this study was to analyze the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) within Ecuador’s executive branch. Methodologically, this study was conducted using an approach based on documentary analysis and qualitative methods. The results showed that Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Ecuador’s executive branch offers transformative potential that could substantially improve the efficiency of public administration, optimize government decision-making, and strengthen transparency in resource management. This technology has the capacity to automate complex processes, such as the management of administrative procedures, public policy planning, and tax collection. In conclusion, if Ecuador properly harnesses the potential of AI, with careful planning and ethical implementation, it could undergo a true digital transformation that not only modernizes public administration but also improves the quality of life for its citizens.
