Biosafety measures for the transmission of pulmonary tuberculosis in health personnel

Abstract

The objective was based on determining the relationship between the Biosecurity Measures of the personnel and the level of TB infection in the Hospital Hipólito Nacional Unanue, 2021. The design was observational, descriptive, cross-sectional and retrospective.There is a significant relationship between Biosafety Measures and the level of TB infection at the Hospital Hipólito Nacional Unanue, 2021.  Of the 264, professionals consulted the vast majority know and correctly apply the biosecurity measures in the different areas evaluated, thus contributing to significantly reduce the contagion curve in TB patients in the mentioned health center, compared to previous years, statistically for the time of the research 60% of New TB cases were attended, 20% Continuers and 20% resistant.
