Legal responsibility of the health care provider in adolescents with addictions

Abstract

The objective is to analyze the legal responsibility of the health service provider in the care of adolescents with addictions in order to learn about the legal consequences of failing to comply with a ruling issued to protect their rights. This is a descriptive type of research. In short, in Ecuador there are mechanisms to enforce compliance with the sentences issued by the competent authority, one of them are the exhortations to the bodies or personnel responsible for complying with the sentence and the second is the power of jurisdictional coercion; Likewise, when we speak of non-compliance, it can be given in two ways, the first by not complying with the ruling and the second by the quality of the decision; in turn, both the Constitution of Ecuador and the LOGJCC, establish a series of consequences that are generated due to non-compliance with the judgments issued by the competent authorities.
