Business intelligence to improve the decision making process at a credit union
Abstract
Some Business Intelligence Tools were analyzed, it was selected which one adjusted to the needs of the Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito Tulcán, according to the strategies that the different areas have and to have an adequate financial health, thus attracting members and providing services. After having carried out the research work using the Pentaho BI tool, it has been possible to experiment and know the potential of the tool facilitating from the integration of different data sources, as well as operational database and xls format file to the exploitation of information for decision making, thanks to its modularity of this tool, the specific objective initially proposed is achieved, and a correct integration with each of the tools used.
